The prowess of the Boston Dynamics robots is advancing by leaps and bounds. We have already seen how its dynamics have evolved in recent months, and the news keeps coming.
As the videos that Boston Dynamics has shared the show, they have now learned to run and navigate autonomously. The first vide or shows Atlas, the humanoid robot surprises running without losing its balance, even in adverse circumstances.
The terrain has irregularities, and with some obstacles to hinder the exercise of the robot. Even so, Atlas was able to overcome all obstacles, without losing balance or speed. And yes, it also jumps, as we have seen in previous videos.
On the other hand, SpotMini, the robot dog also presents impressive novelties. Its navigation and mapping system has been enhanced, allowing the offices to go through without problems, as seen in the video.
To achieve this routine, SpotMini had to receive a mini training. The robot was shown the route it had to take so that it could map the route. And as expected, SpotMini was able to navigate autonomously, using the potential of its cameras to navigate the site and avoid obstacles.
Only one lesson was enough for SpotMini to learn the way and could move without problems
